New milestone: Methodology to represent flexibilities on the distribution grids from a transmission grid perspective



The methodology proposed by ENSIEL in OSMOSE WP2 enables to model the interface between TSOs and DSOs, in an effort to better assess the economic potential of distributed energy sources. The approach relies on:

  •  modeling the distribution network by using open data only; and
  •  quantifying the availability of flexibility products by using “local market models” that optimize the DERs dispatching.

A 4-page presentation can be downloaded below, and the related deliverables will be released in March 2021.
