Webinar on BESS optimal sizing methodology



OSMOSE will hold a webinar on June 18th at 11H00 to present results of WP7 on the optimal sizing of Battery Energy Storage Systems
During the implementation of battery energy storage systems, one of the most crucial issues is to optimally determine the size of the battery to define the appropriate balance between the technical /economical improvements brought by the battery and the additional overall cost.
A simulation-based method has been developed in OSMOSE task 7.3 to determine the optimal size of a BESS accordingly to a specific application. In order to identify the most influencing factors to consider during a BESS sizing procedure, several sensitivity analysis have been carried out on two illustrative application cases.
